Quality deep red fabric with gold bullion chain cord piping around standup collar and along the entire border of tunic. Same type gold bullion chain cord frogging, pocket outline, six loop designs on skirt and extending up back to below shoulders. Front has ten gold domed Russian eagle buttons, reverse has 8 matching buttons. Cuffs have gold bullion cord loop designs in a pointed pattern extending to elbows. Three 1-inch section of gilt cord are missing on left cuff. Gold wire with a knot slide.eagle buttons shoulder boards. Original white lining tattered along waist. Circa 1900.
