Blue-green tunic with a white piped standup red collar, bib and cuffs. 20 gilt domed relief Russian eagle buttons. Large embroidered gold bullion grenade flames on red cuff tabs. Red piped skirt with four buttons. Minor holes on shoulders and liner, some losses on the emroidery. Black cloth lining. Circa 1870s.

Red piped black velvet standup collar, bib front and pointed upward center cuffs. Double row of high relief embroided gold bullion laurel leaves on collar. Matching bullion laurel leaf branch with gilt Russian eagle buttons on cuffs. 14 gilt Russian eagle buttons (one mismatched) on bib. 6 Russian eagle buttons (one mismatched) on red piped skirt. Replaced brown satin type lining. Small circular repair on bib. Some wear on edge of cuffs and black velvet worn away along top border on back of left cuff. Some fading on left arm. Russian Imperial Army's Heavy Cavalry Guards Cuirassier officer Koller.
Fine green wool body with flat silver tress with red borders., running down both open front sides and continuing over and around the red standup collar. Red cuffs with same tress pointed upward above the cuff with a silver button. A set of 14 hooks/loops act as front fasteners in the place of buttons. Reverse has a red piping on the scalloped skirt and continuing upto the shoulder and coming down the back of the arm seam. Cloth belt holder with a silver button on back waist. 6 silver buttons on skirt. Silk lining consists of a white upper section and a lower red. Expected minor wear on edge of collar and some fading on sleeve - otherwise in very good condition. Circa 1890-1900.

Russian Imperial Guards Heavy Cavalry Cuirassier officer Gala dress tunic.
Dark blue wool pocketless tunic with red standup collar, large cuffs and red piping around shoulders, down arms, on skirt and up to shoulders. Aged-tone gold tape with 3 red stripes - around collar, down front and around cuffs. Two matching buttons on each cuff. 10 eyelets and 10 hooks on each side front for fastening, Thread loops and 2 polished copper buttons on shoulders to accommodate shoulder boards. Partially padded black silk lining. Some wear on tape along top of collar.

Quality deep red fabric with gold bullion chain cord piping around standup collar and along the entire border of tunic. Same type gold bullion chain cord frogging, pocket outline, six loop designs on skirt and extending up back to below shoulders. Front has ten gold domed Russian eagle buttons, reverse has 8 matching buttons. Cuffs have gold bullion cord loop designs in a pointed pattern extending to elbows. Three 1-inch section of gilt cord are missing on left cuff. Gold wire with a knot slide.eagle buttons shoulder boards. Original white lining tattered along waist. Circa 1900.

Russian Imperial Army Life Guards Hussar regiment of His Majesty general's Pelisse Attila (Ташка) .
Fine ribbed quality ivory white tunic with gold bullion chain cord frogging and wide gold tape decorated with "general's" zig-zag pattern. Pointed minaret - with gold loop designs on cuffs. Ten gilt domed Russian eagle buttons and five gilt brass twisted barrel clasp buttons. Fur standup collar, on cuffs and border of the entire tunic. Six gold bullion chain designs on skirt, extending up to shoulders and below collar. Two gilt matching buttons on shoulders. Maroon lining, one stain on back shoulder and some fur worn on back of the collar, but overall in very good condition. Splendid example of a very high rank garment of the hussar regiment which had the most expensive uniforms in the Russian Imperial army. Museum quality.

WW1 era 17th Dragoon regiment field visor cap. Made of red wool piped in black with greenish liner. Leather lacquered visor. Leather sweatband. Russian Imperial Private rank's painted tin cockade on the front. Also unmarked. Shows some wear, especially on the liner, minor cracking on the visor. o/w in great original condition -- NO holes or moth damage. Size 57.

Russian Civil War era, White Guards Airforce Pilot's uniform.
Black woold service jacket with 4 pockets and Russian imperial engineering branch buttons. Sleeve patch of "People's Volunteer Army" military pilot in the rank of under-officer. The shoulder boards have insignia of the 2nd Army Detachment. Size 40 US. Very good original condition, though shows some wear on collar and cuffs and one minor original field repair.
WW1 era Imperial Airforce pilot's peelotka side cap. Made of black wool piped in red with velvet outer flaps and single vertical silver stripe. The imperial officer's cockade is replaced with a diagonal ribbon in the colors of the Order of St. George. Size 59. Shows minor wear, o/w fine condition.

Extremely rare uniform of a WW1 era Russian Imperial Army's elite 1917 First Woman's Death Battalion.
The uniform consists of two items: Female cut Gimnasterka tunic. "Female" right-to-left central button plank and vertical stitching on the chest. First Woman's Death Battalion NCO shoulder boards, Imperial army buttons and red-and-black (blood and death colors) V-chevron. Death Battalion Visor cap. NCO visor cap in khaki wool with Death battalion's large Death Head cockade. Both items are in superb original condition (minor wear and several very minor holes). Of extreme rarity.
In the wake of the March 1917 Revolution, the armed forces became a hotbed of political discussion, active warfare taking a back seat. However, this didn't apply to all; and by May of 1917, several proposals had been put to prevent further deterioration of forces. It has decided to harness this enthusiasm, and various units were recruited during the build-up to the 1917 Summer offensive. Woman's "Battalions of Death" were also raised, but they were mainly a propaganda exercise. However, the battalion saw some front action and the remains of the1st Woman's Death Battalion provided the Provisional Government's last line of defense outside of the Winter Palace in November of 1917 on the night of the Bolshevik coup.

WW1 era uniform of a Russian Imperial Army's 2nd Don Cossack Regiment under-officer.
WW1 era Cossack Cavalry field gimnasterka tunic. Dark blue NCO rank shoulder boards, piped in blue with gold numerals "2" for regiment number, held by small metal buttons with Russian Imperial eagles. Characteristic v-shaped cuffs unique for cavalry units. The tunic is made of experimental “chameleon” material invented by the Russian scientists at the beginning of WW1 specifically for use in field uniforms. This material is made of four threads of different colors intertwined in a special way so the material changes color depending on lighting condition visually distorting the shape of a person wearing such tunic. The material was decades ahead of its time and was used during WW1 only in small quantities in certain elite regiments. The tunic is marked with 1916 date on the manufacturing stamp. 2. WW1 Era NCO rank Don Cossack host visor cap. Black peak with red rim - both piped in red. Russian Imperial Army's metal cockade. Leather visor and gray linen liner. The visor is marked “Novikov and Co. Manufacture, Sankt Petersburg”

WW1 era Cherkesska Don Cossack host jacket . Made of blue wool with red liner, cuffs and piping. Red NCO Russian Imperial army Cossack boards with a wide horizontal stripe for a Cossack NCO rank of Uryadnik numeral "8" for eight regiment are held by metal buttons with Russian Imperial eagles. The row of small pockets for Gaziri is filled with rifle cartridges as was normal during the war (cartridges are indeed fully inert).

Rare complete uniform of a private cavalryman in the elite WW1 era Russian Imperial Army's 2nd Dagestan regiment of the "Wild Cavalry Division."
This attractive uniform consists of the following items: WW1 era Dagestan regiment "Caucasian" type wool Cherkesska jacket with 14 gaziri cartridges and red shoulder boards of the Dagestan cavalry regiment. WW1 Era fur lined hat with red top embellished with yellow cord in a regimental pattern. Leather "Caucasian" type belt decorated with silver detail. "Caucasian" horse whip. Carved wooden handle with twisted leather whip and hanging loop. Russian black leather boots.

WW1 era army officer's field cap.
Made of light green material with fibre visor (painted green), green leather chinstrap, leather sweatband lined with period newspapers for better moisture absorption, and grey cloth liner. Russian Imperial army officer's cockade. Size: 58, Manufacturer's stamp of a Saint Petersburg maker. This visor cap is made of a special "Schengen" material with interweaving threads of slightly different colors which supposed to provide for camouflage function. Uniforms made from this material were experimental in the Russian army during the war and are rarely seen.
Very good (used) original condition, showing very minor wear.
