Late 19th century Caucasian style Kama large kindjal dagger.
Description:
The hilt is completely covered with silver, decorated with engraved and niellowed floral ornament and a semi -precious stone between the buttons. Silver fittings on the black leather covered wooden scabbard are decorated en suite with the hilt with another stone (turquoise?) in the central fitting.
Markings: Niello cypher on the back of the scabbard fitting in Russian "Б", Arabic late 19th century marking on the blade.
Condition: Very good original condition, showing some wear, minor chips on the blade as shown.
