A superb example of WW1 era Russian Imperial army Officer's dragoon saber - model 1881/1909.
Description:
Black handle with brass fittings. Emperor Nicholas II cipher on the pommel. Slightly curved steel blade has the Arsenal markings "A" and "crowned A" and etched cipher of Nicholas II on one side and Russian Imperial eagle on the other side. The name of the manufacturer "Zlatoust Arms Factory" is etched on the butt of the blade. The wooden leather covered scabbard is original to the saber and also has brass fittings.
Condition: Very good original condition, though showing some wear.
