Russian imperial c. 1872 Silver Enameled Plate
Decorated with 2-color floral enamelled design and covered with a realistically rendered Trompe d'Oeil napkin.
Hallmarks: On the napkin: "84" zolotniks (875/1000) silver purity mark dated 1872, Royal purveyer's eagle mark, maker's mark "CC" for Sergei Stroganov. On the bottom: "91" zolotniks (925/1000) silver purity mark, Moscow town mark, and unreadable maker's mark.

Condition: Minor enamel loss othrewise, superb original condition.
