Much brass inlay of lions and flowers. 12 petal Imperial Mon in several places on the stock, Family Kamon on the butt and gold and silver inlaid dragon on the barrel.

The Kamon (family crest) is "Mokko ni maru". Hawley's Mon - The Japanese Family Crest associates this crest with the families Kameda, Ishino, Magabuchi, Kawashima, Wada and Yamaoka.
