Traditional Russian Cossack Caucasian-style leather belt with silver fittings.
Has 26 silver details (all profusely decorated en suite with hand-chasing and nielloed ornament) . Very expensive to make with lavish decorations, this belt, no doubt belonged to a well-to-do Cossack officer.
Rare as a complete set with no missing parts and mostly original leather . Maker's mark in Arabic on the end piece.
